The following custom or advanced calling services are available from Vernon Telephone. Please take the time to view these services and see what they provide. Most services are available for $1.25 each. They can be ordered by calling our business office at (608) 634-3136 or 1-800-543-2029 (608 area code only).

Call Waiting--If you have an incoming call while you're already on the line, the Call Waiting feature will alert you. You may then put the first party on hold while you catch your second call. It will greatly reduce missed calls due to a busy phone!

Cancel Call Waiting--Service given with Call Waiting. Cancels Call Waiting by dialing a sequence of numbers prior to making a call. Eliminates computer disconnection for times you use your telephone line for data.

3 Way or Conference Calling--This feature lets you turn an everyday two-way phone call into a three-way conversation.

Short Speed Call--Now you can call up to 8 of your most frequently dialed numbers just by dialing a one-digit code. This includes long distance DDD numbers.

Call Forwarding--This feature means you phone can transfer incoming calls to another number of your choice. Call Forwarding is great for the business person who wants to catch after-hours business calls at home, or for anyone who doesn't want to miss an important call.

Call Forwarding Remote Access--Allows you to have the Telephone Company forward your telephone number to any directory number in another toll area.

Long Speed Call--Abbreviated dialing for up to 30 different numbers.

1+ Restriction or ASC--This feature allows you to program a PIN number to your line and only with the use of this PIN number will you be allowed to make long distance calls. Local and 800 dialing is still allowed.

1+ Bulk Restriction--Allows you to block originating calls beginning with the prefix "1" through the use of a special code.

900 Restriction--This feature will allow you to allow or deny all, none or any specific 900 number. The list may be changed as often as you like.

Super Speed Call--You can call your favorite telephone numbers by name. This feature uses four digit speed dialing which enables memories such as HOME to be used.

Caller ID--Identifies the number of the calling party after the telephone rings twice. You can then decide if you want to answer the telephone or not. Date and time of incoming caller's are also displayed. (Special Equipment Required)

Caller Number Delivery Blocking--A free service. This service allows you to prevent your number from displaying on the called parties telephone. Dial *67 prior to making your call.

Customer Originated Trace--When you get a nuisance call hang up. Life handset and listen for dial tone. Press *57. Listen for announcement and hang up. The number you traced will be recorded at the Telephone Company.

Automatic Recall--Redials the last caller even if you couldn't answer in time. This feature has a special callback ring that alerts you if the line becomes free.

Automatic Call Back--Keeps redialing busy numbers and tells you when the line is free.
