The Chaseburg Coon Valley Blues and the La Crosse Athletics, Co-Champions of the MVL regular

a pitching duel between CCV's Nick Jones and the Athletic's Jared Manske. La Crosse took the early
lead with single runs in the 1st and 3rd innings. The Blues tied the game with runs in the 5th and 8th,
only to see the Athletics regain the lead with a run in hte bottom of the 8th. But, after Dax Connelly
relieved Manske to start the 9th, the Blues scored twice in the top of 9th to take the lead. Adam
Wershofen, who came on in relief of Jones in the 8th, pitched a scoreless 9th to secure the CCV win
and pick up the win. Matt Hoff drove in the typing run in the 8th with a 2 out single. Josh Schultz and
Adam Wershofen had 2 hits and Aaron Martin had a 3-hit game for the Blues.
