The Friends of the Gays Mills Public Library (FOGMPL) are members who support the library through volunteerism, fundraising and grant writing to assist the library in acquiring special library materials, equipment, and programming.

Some goals of the FOGMPL include

  • Invigorate and expand library programs for all ages.
  • Promote cultural literacy through book discussion groups, poetry readings, author talks.

  • Increase the access to library materials for the homebound.

  • Provide volunteer assistance in staffing the library.

  • Seek out grants to further the mission of the FOGMPL and enhance the library for the communities we serve.

Membership to FOGMPL is open to everyone whether you have a little time to give or a lot. As an active member you have the opportunity to shape the direction of the organization and assist in the growth of the library. Comments, ideas, and suggestions are welcome from all members.
