Pachamama began
in January of 1995, with a small circle of ten people who attended a free workshop
offered by Jaes Seis on Shamanism in Richland Center, WI. Several of those original
people continued to help create spiritual gatherings and circles for learning
and healing. These gatherings usually took place in our homes, where we cooked
the food and shared together like family. All of the first classes Jaes taught
were done as "give aways," free of charge, for the benefit of creating community
in a spiritual context. Jaes began inviting friends, colleagues and teachers
to come and share their wisdom and experience with this community. Luzclara
from Chile, Myron Eshowsky, and Sandra Ingerman came to teach and share their
healing wisdom. Soon other members of the community were finding teachers they
also wanted to learn from and invited them to come and teach. Pachamama Inc.
became a 501(c) 3 non-profit corporation in 1998. These are the roots from which
Pachamama has grown. We welcome you to join us -- to teach, learn, and heal
in this, our Pachamama community.
