She has studied with various other Shamans including, Alberto Villoldo and Luzclara. Jaes lectures and leads intensives and classes on Shamanism. She is a founding partner in the creation of Pachamama, a 120 acre spiritual gathering place in Southwestern Wisconsin. Trees continue to be some of Jaes' greatest colleagues and teachers. Shamans journey outside ordinary time and space into a parallel reality, or 'Non-Ordinary Reality'. They work in partnership with Spirit Guides and Teachers. In Shamanism both physical and emotional illnesses are seen as connected to disharmony of the spirit. Shamans treat the spiritual cause of illness. It is a life long discipline that cultivates a heightened awareness of the connectedness of, and spiritual essence in, all things. Shamans honor this sacredness by seeking to restore what is out of balance or displaced, thus restoring harmony, and allowing the true potential and direction of an individual to manifest. "A Shaman remembers, awakening the memory in others." -- Jaes Seis
