How to Insert a Table in Netscape Composer

1. Make sure your web page file is open.
2. Place your cursor in your web page where you want your table to be.
3. Go up to the first row of buttons and go to the second button from the right that says "Table". Click on that button. You will see a gray box with all sorts of information. At the top are places where you have to enter how many rows and columns. You need to decide how many rows and how many columns you are going to need. Make sure to add one more column to have enough space for the labels of your data.
4. Now look over the options that you have for your table. If you want a title above your table make a check in the box in front of "Include caption".  
5. If you want you table to have a boundary around it, check boundary line width. You can make a bolder table boundary by increasing the values of the pixels.
6. Keep "Table width" and "Equal Column widths" checked.
7. If you want your table to have a background color, check "Use Color" and select the color you want by clicking and holding on the gray box to the colors.
8. Click OK and you will see your table. Enter in your data to the table.
9. To delete any parts or the whole table, place your cursor in the table where you want it to be deleted. Go up to Edit and down to Delete Table. You will see a side menu of Table, Row, Column, Cell. Select the item that you want to delete.

10. If you want to get back to modify your table, go to Format and down to Table Properties. This will bring up the grey table properties box again. You can make adjustments here.
