Roberta’s
story is one of following
her inner guidance and coming into resonance with her own vibration. Several
years ago, Roberta (Rahbi) left a traditional music career to seek out training that
would support her knowingness that music and sound could be used in a whole
different way. She has gone through intensive training with
Fabien Maman
in Southern France. Roberta was drawn to Maman’s work because he had both a scientific
and spiritual basis, and because he was looking closely at the far reaching
life-force impact of frequency and harmonic intervals. Maman spent 25 years
researching the effect of sound on bodies. One of his books includes many pages
of amazing photographs documenting the exposure of human cells to sound
frequencies. Cancer cells are shown destabilizing to the point of exploding.
Normal cells are shown being energized and empowered, so that their degenerative
processes are slowed and they function in healthier ways. Maman based the
Tama-Do techniques he teaches on this research, and on a refined application of
the principles of Oriental Medicine. You can learn more about Maman at

In addition to her Tama-Do training, Roberta brings her own intuition and knowledge of sound to this innovative work. Her musical expertise and a fascination with unusual instruments provide her clients and audiences with truly amazing vibrational healing experiences.
In her private practice, called "Chi-Full Noise," Rahbi may foster energy shifts at the physical level by using tuning forks to apply pitches to the spine, Oriental Medicine’s meridian acupoints or specific subtle body points. In addition to tuning forks, a multitude of other instruments, and the human voice may be utilized. Colored light may be applied during a treatment through the use of a hand-held color wheel. Rahbi also creates healing circles where individuals are in turn surrounded by instruments of different pitch and quality to correspond to the chakras and specific organ systems. For groups of people, Rahbi is particularly excited about healing concerts that create resonance by utilizing specific patterns and harmonies appropriate to the season of the year. She may perform these concerts solo or in conjunction with other musicians. The concerts consist of flowing and improvising within a basic structure, to create a resonance not only for the season but to harmonize all the energies present at the time. Rahbi states that, "Healing must take place individually through the raising of consciousness and the shifting of energy." Her goal is to be available to help each individual realize and integrate their own ability to heal themselves. She emphasizes that vibration can bring a system back into harmony with all the interconnected elements in existence - our environment, nature, universal and cosmic forces.
In addition to her Tama-Do studies, Rahbi has two Master's Degrees in Music, and other advanced musical training. She is an experienced orchestral and choral conductor, a composer, and an innovative performer. She plays Native American flutes, quartz crystal bowls, and many traditional and unusual instruments. Rahbi's private sound healing practice, called "Chi-full Noise," is located in Viroqua, Wisconsin. She travels to other areas upon request to conduct workshops, concerts, and sound healing events.
