During an individual treatment, Roberta (Rahbi) may foster healing energy shifts at the physical level by using tuning forks to apply pitches to the spine, to the Oriental Medicine acupoints or to specific subtle body points. In addition to tuning forks, Rahbi may utilize a variety of other instruments including large quartz crystals bowls, chimed instruments and her own voice. She may apply colored light at the same time through the use of a hand-held color wheel.
When a tuning fork is applied to the spine, it acts as
a sounding board,
amplifying the vibrations. Each vertebra has its own pitch and each section of
vertebrae has its own color. When properly activated the spine can literally
sing a song that affects the entire body including the endocrine system and
subtle energetic fields. The application of sound
and color to the meridian acupoints can have similar far-reaching effects.
