I was drawn to astrology through Jungian therapist Lionel Corbett who was very influential in my life. He was interested in and supportive of my artisitic visions and my dream drawings. Because of him I began reading various works by C.G. Jung, as well as books like Sylvia Brinton Perera's "Descent to the Goddess: A Way of Initiation for Women" and "Shamanism" by Mircea Eliade, and a book called "Envy" by a man named Schoeck. Then he suggested I have my chart done!
I did. I was in a state of shock for weeks!. How could a simple circle drawn on paper with squiggles and lines tell so much about me?
That was the beginning of a 17 year long fascination and education in Astrology. When doing a person's chart I am focussed on potentials . No chart represents fate "written in stone". What are the gifts this person has brought to this life of theirs? What are the talents and skills they can develop? What are the possible pitfalls and dilemmas they might face? How could they most creatively deal with difficulties?
I am a 'modern' astrologer versed in the ideas of CG Jung and how they have crossed into astrological interpretations. I also use asteroids as well as Ruperti's "Cycles of Becoming: Planetary Patterns of Growth".
A basic premise is that each of us is unique, however much we are 'born into' a certain family, culture and era. How does this unique being, thru looking at their chart, develop in their particular context?
When you request that I do a Natal Chart you receive one that has been interpreted by me, not a computer.
