Come with your trailer or pick-up and
choose your animal. Lambs are available for slaughter or as
breeding stock. |
| Butchered Lambs |
|
We will deliver a whole lamb to a local
locker plant where it will be cut, wrapped and frozen to your
specifications. We use the Kickapoo Locker in Gays Mills, Wisconsin.
They do a superb job - you will frequently see their name among
the Blue Ribbon Prize winners at the Wisconsin State Fair. If
you choose this option, you will pay us the for the animal,
a small delivery charge for taking the lamb to the locker plant
and the cost of processing. You can pick your frozen meat up
in Gays Mills or you can arrange for us to deliver it to you
for an extra charge. The typical 120 pound lamb will yield between
60 and 65 pounds of meat. |
| Processed Meats |

We have smoked lamb summer sausage and
Baaa-twurst available. Both are prepared for us by the award
winning Kickapoo Locker and are of phenomenal quality. |
| Individual Cuts of Meat |
|
In our freezer on the farm we generally
have some cuts of meat available, boneless rolled roasts, chops
and ground meat. |
| Fleeces |
|
We shear the sheep once a year in the
early spring prior to lambing. We have both white and colored
fleeces available at that time. Clun fleece is close-textured
wool of consistent high quality, with a spinning count of 58
and a high degree of elasticity. If you are interested in fleeces
and would like to help at shearing time please let us know.

| Tanned Wool-on Hides |

We’ve just begun experimenting with sending
our hides to a tanner. We will have some available in the fall
of 2004. |
