~2008 Listing~
Your Source for QUALITY Hostas, Daylilies & Peonies
2008
This season we are pleased to offer for your consideration over 30 new hosta cultivars, plus several new additions of daylilies and peonies. We do a considerable amount of investigating and test growing before listing any new cultivar, discarding a considerable number that are poor growers or simply undistinctive. This years offerings include many striking, new hostas, as well as some exceptionally beautiful daylilies and a couple more of the highly sought after intersectional peonies.
In the past, I fear I have been remiss in that I have not properly acknowledged a singular friend who has long been my Tech Guruweb master, catalog designer, computer doctorMaster Mechanic and Hort Consultant. His name is Jason Rider. With degrees from UW in Horticulture and Agronomy, he is also a plant hybridizer of merit. Several of his selected hosta seedlings beg introduction. While holding down a demanding job and keeping tabs on two energetic boys, he still finds time to keep me afloatthank goodness! I wish I were half so talented. Thank you, Jason!!!
We have always tried to keep shipping costs as low as possible. Last year the US Postal Service made major (and complicated) changes, which have drastically affected rates for those states outside the Midwest. Such increases seem unmerited, but there is no recourse, unfortunately. So, please note that we have had to institute a two-tier rate: one for the Midwest; another for all other states. We will still come out in the red on shipping, but hopefully not as much as last summer. Uff da!
Thank you for your interest in our separate website for our new Daylily Introductions, FROSTLINE DAYLILIES. We appreciate the increasing interest in northern hybridized daylilies. 2007 and 2008 introductions are listed on this site, along with pictures. Check them out at this address: daylilylink.com
These daylily introductions carry our failsafe guarantee.
We are always happy to hear from you. If you have any questions or comments, just drop an email and we will get right back to you. Early morning calls (6:00 a.m. CST) and late evening calls (well after dark) are most welcome.
Thank you for your business!

Northern Grown Perennials
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY BEFORE
ORDERING!
Since we are located in Wisconsin, we make no attempt to compete with more southern nurseries which can ship plants in very early spring. Our plants quickly catch up and usually surpass southern plants by the end of the season with none of the pouting for which southern grown plants are so famous. Depending on our weather conditions we begin shipping about the middle of May. Straight hosta orders are shipped first. Orders containing daylilies require 2-3 more weeks, at minimum, to reach shipping stage. Early orders from southern states are given priority. Since we ship only freshly dug stock, we are at the mercy of weather conditions, and cannot guarantee exact shipping/delivery dates, but we do our best to meet necessitated date requests. Your patience on spring orders is both necessary and appreciated.
****************************** GUARANTEE ***************************
We guarantee our plants to be true to name and in good condition upon arrival. We are not, however, responsible for overwintering losses, lack of water or other conditions beyond our control. If you are ever dissatisfied in any way with the plants you receive, simply return them within 7 days with the original labels and we will refund both the cost of the plants and postage.
