This pony sized bloomer has been both beautiful and consistent. Forming a very compact clump, 'Turtledove' produces heavily budded scapes about 26" tall and 4" blooms. This is a very soft pastel, smooth, cream with a large, pure pink eye and chartreuse throat. Overall bloom effect is very round with heavy, even, deep ruffling. A mid to late season bloomer, the flowers open fully in early mornings even when weather is cool. A dormant diploid, 'Turtledove' establishes quickly and increases readily, blooming over an extended period of time. Very fertile and an excellent parent for eyed and pink offspring. Double divisions. Sure to please.
