Silver Moon Farm Newletter for Friends, Family and whoever.

December, 2001
I guess it is about time I updated this page! The weather is no longer the sweltering heat of August. We would like to welcome the new editor of this page.....the dog formerly known as "Shadow" but now known as "Shadow-Editor in Chief"

From our Editor:
Ok...it's about time I got a little recognition around here. All that talk in the last newletter about supposed incidents of hair-all-over-the-place really got me ticked-off. I'd like to welcome you all to my new "From the Editor" column. Since John/Axis was so slow to update this page, I felt I needed to step in and get things rolling. (plus.....I really believe I have the inside view of what is going on around here.)
I've been trying hard to keep things rolling around here. But it isn't easy. Learning to keyboard has been a bit tough for me....but I took to the internet like a flea takes to a .....dog? Hmmph. Colloquial human expressions. Yeah....and my spelling my be a bit tough, but hey, I'm learning!
Cinthia's Uncle Willy got us a picture of Mark and Michelle in Guyana and so that is now in their page. (He also brought along his little dog "Socks" who had the nerve to sniff my behind!)
Its getting a bit cold on my paws these days and there's just enough snow to make it difficult to lie down on the ground outside. Sometimes Johnny/Axis lets me ride in the car....which is fun as long as I don't have to go to that creepy vet or something. The durn cats around here still get preferential treatment as far as I am concerned, but no one really seems to bother about that. Johnny/Axis has been making warm fires for our house, though, so I guess he's some good.
We all had a good Christmas and got to see lots of friends and family! I got some doggy-treats that looked like bacon but weren't....??? What's up with that....is there a bacon shortage?
Lightning the Wonder Horse had some troubles earlier this year...when it was still the green-and-hot-time. He found he could get out of his fence and so he DID! Again and again and again! The big people took to tying him to various things....things big enough he couldn't drag them all over the place......like tractors and trees mainly. Then they'd haff ta drag him back to the barn each night.
It was kinda funny. Heheheheh (woof....tail-wag.) Now he's back in his pen since the big people got the fence fixed and he kinda settled down. Now don't be fooled by the picture above....there's not really that much snow here yet. The big people took this picture last year.
Anyway...I would like to wish all beings of all nations a great New Year.....though if any more partying goes on around here I think we'll all be in trouble.
