Parishioners Needed for St Charles Parish TV Mass Filming This Thursday  The Diocese has asked our Parish to come up to the Diocesan Center this Thursday night January 10 at 5:00 PM to be the Lay Ministers and Congregation for the filming of two 30 minute Masses to be aired January 20 and 27 across the Diocese.  Fr Joe Hirsch will be the Celebrant.  Ellen is arranging the Music, Cantors and Choir.  Please call Frex (457-2151) if you are able to be a Reader, Server, Gift Bearer, Eucharistic Minister, or part of the Congregation in the pews coming up to receive Communion.  The filming will be complete by 6:30 PM.  A good turnout would present St Charles favorably.

Choir Practice:  Choir practice will be Monday, January 7^th at 7 PM to prepare for the televised Mass. 

CCD/Confirmation Classes this Week:   Classes continue this Wednesday, January 9 at 6:45 PM at the School.

Brosinski Fire Benefit Fundraiser will be held Saturday, January 19, at 2:00 PM at the Stoddard American Legion Hall.  See the Poster in the Vestibule.  For direct inquiries contact Kathy Tully at 689-3859 or Cheryl Trussoni at 689-2147.

Fr Schulte Cemetery Memorial:  The Cemetery Committee has ordered a beautiful Stone & Carving in Memorial of Fr Schulte for installation in the spring at a cost of $9,000.  This will add to the beauty and sacredness of the Cemetery.  Donations can be mailed to the parish or included in the collection basket identified as for the Memorial.  Total donations to-date:  $8130.  Any donations in excess of $9,000 will be used for perpetual care. 

Natural Family Planning (NFP) Classes on Sunday afternoons January 20, February 10, and March 2, from 2:30-4:30 PM at Franciscan Skemp Hospital in the Lang Conference Room.

Adopt A Door Program:  Thanks to all who are donating to the Adopt a Door Program.  Our next project will be to replace the three bathroom doors at a cost of $2700.  We have $1200 pledged toward this effort.  Anyone interested in helping out can contact Lori George at 608-648-2024.  These doors are scheduled to be installed just after the first of the year.
