Yearbook Pictures

We are in need of any and all pictures from this school year.  We would be very grateful for any pictures that could be sent to school.  We would be more than happy to make copies of original pictures to be used for the yearbook.  Pictures are needed as soon as possible.

Warm Weather

With the warm weather finally making an appearance, students often ask if they can take their coats off at recess.  If students are wearing a winter coat and are wearing a sweatshirt underneath, the winter coat can be taken off.  However, if the student is only wearing a shirt underneath, the request is often denied.

Shorts can be worn to school beginning May 1; however children are allowed to bring a pair to school and change if the staff feels the temperature is warm enough.  Also, open toed sandals need to be worn with socks on the playground to prevent injuries.

Lip Sync Fundraiser

The Lip Sync will be held Friday, May 2nd at 7:00 p.m.  We will have a potluck beforehand starting at 6:00 p.m.  Each classroom will put together one performance.  Each student can participate in up to three performances.  Families are encouraged to participate and come up with a performance of their own.  All songs need to be decided on by Thursday, May 1st and need to be approved by one of the four teachers.

For those families new to the school, the Lip Sync is a fundraiser.  After each performance a collection is taken (change, small bills) and those groups earning the most could win the cash prizes at the end.  The rest of the money will go towards our end of the year field trip, which will be announced in a few weeks.

If each family could bring one item to contribute to the potluck we would appreciate it (S-Z) Main Dish Items,  (A-H) Salads,  (I-R) Desserts.
