Welcome to New Students at St. Boniface

We have three new students at St. Boniface this year. We welcome them.  We hope they enjoy their new school and making new friends.

Welcome Teckla Adank

Teckla Adank has joined our family here at St. Boniface as our new cook and custodian.  We have had some great first meals and the school is sparkling clean.  When you are here at school, please stop by the kitchen to say Hi and introduce yourself.

Welcome to Mr. Peterson

Marty Peterson will be joining us here at St. Boniface on Thursdays for music class.  Mr. Peterson will also be providing music instruction at Holy Family in Arcadia.  If you are here on a Thursday, please introduce yourself to Mr. Peterson.

Scrip Order

The September scrip order will be sent in on Tuesday, September 8th.  An order form for scrip is enclosed in this week's family folder.

Thank You to Tina and Mike Schlesser

Thank you to Tina and Mike Schlesser for providing ice cream sundaes for the students the first day of school.  Everyone loved choosing all the yummy toppings for their sundaes.

Sketch Book for Art

Each student in grades 3-8 will need a sketchbook for art class.  Mrs. Plachecki ask that the size be at least 8 1/2 x 11, but it can be larger.  It can be spiral or non-spiral bound.  The pages should be unlined.  Please contact Mrs. Plachecki if you have any questions.

Mass Schedule

All school masses will be on Thursday at 9:00 am for this school year.  We will also have first Friday mass at 9:00 am o the first Friday of each month.  Please join us when your schedule allows.

Magazine Sale

This year's magazine sale will start next Wednesday, September 9th.  All order forms and catalogs will be handed out that day.  All the details of the sale will be heading your way next week.

Free and Reduced Lunch Applications

If you have not filled out your Free and Reduced Lunch Application, please do so and return it to school as soon as possible.  If you have questions regarding your income please contact Mrs. Pyka.

Volunteer needed for the Scholastic Book Fair

Scholastic Books contacted out school inquiring if we would be interested in hosting a book fair this year.  Being that Karen Pronschinske had organized this event in the past, I told the company that we would be interested only if a new volunteer could be found to coordinate the sale.

The dates of the sale would be November 16th through November 30th.  The responsibility of the volunteer would be to unpack the books when they arrive, set up the displays and books, repack any unsold books for return after the sale, and make sure there is change available at school for those who pay in cash at the sale.

If this is something that you would be interested in, please contact Mrs. Pyka by September 15th.
