Plow Day

Plow day is scheduled for October 18th.  As in the past, we will be sponsoring our annual rummage sale at the Plow Fest with all proceeds going to St. Boniface School.

 

Annegret has graciously offered to coordinate the garage sale this year.  However, she is in need of lots of help to make the sale a success.  If you are available to help set up, work at the sale, or take down and pack up at the end of the sale, please contact Annegret and offer her your help.

 

Please start looking for those unwanted, outgrown items!  Donations can be brought to the farm across from Harmonia Park starting October 15th.

 

Picture Day

School pictures are scheduled for

Tuesday, October 20th at 9:00 am.

All families in the community are welcome to join us.  This will be considered a dress up day for the students (students don't have to wear their uniform shirts on this day.)

 

Pizza Sale

Our annual pizza sale will kick off on Monday, October 19th.  The sale will continue through Monday, November 2nd.  The delivery date will be Thursday, November 19th (the day of the Thanksgiving dinner).

Magazine Sale

Totals from the magazine sale are being calculated.

 

Prizes for the sale will be distributed on Wednesday, October 28th.  We plan to have a pizza party that day and hand out the prize money.

 

Mrs. Stowe's and Mrs. Pyka's class to visit Rendezvous Days in Winona

Students from Mrs. Stowe's classroom and Mrs. Pyka's classroom will be attending Rendezvous Days in Winona on Friday, October 16th.  Thank you in advance to those parents providing transportation for the students for this field trip.

 

Mrs. Plachecki's and Mrs. Bragger's class to visit the Apple Orchard

Mrs. Plachecki's classroom and Mr. Bragger's classroom will be visiting Ferguson's Apple Orchard on Thursday, October 22nd.  A letter of information and permissions slips will be sent home as the date grows closer.

 

Music Lesson with Sister Mary Jo Baldus

Sister Mary Jo Baldus will again be offering music lessons here at St. Boniface School.  These lessons are offered for a fee that is paid directly to Sister Mary Jo.  If you are interested in your child taking piano or guitar lessons, please contact Sister Mary Jo directly at 1-507-453-9474.  Lessons will begin on Tuesday, October 20th.

 

Rosary Beads

We are in need of Rosary Beads here at school for when the children pray the Rosary on Wednesday mornings.  If you would have any extra that you could donate to school, we would appreciate it.

H1N1 Flu Vaccine Clinic

A nurse from the Buffalo County Health and Human Services Department will be here on Wednesday, October 21st to provide H1N1 Flu shots to the students of St., Boniface.

 

Consent Forms and information about the vaccine are included in this week's family folder.  A consent from must be filled out completely for a child to receive the vaccine.

 

This is being provided free of charge.  On the form there is a box asking for insurance information,.  This information is only for the county to ask insurance companies for reimbursement.,  No charge will come to you.

 

Only H1N1 vaccine shots will be available.  If you are interested in a Seasonal Flu Shot, you need to contact your health provider.

 

This clinic is completely voluntary.  No one is required to receive the vaccine.

 

The clinic will begin at 8:30 am.  The youngest students will go first.  If you would like to accompany your child, please feel free to do so.

The amount raised from the Chili Feed was $320.00 not $405.00 as stated last week.
