A total of 181
orders were turned in here at school. Another 21 orders were
sent via the internet. Our profit this year was $ 1,892.00.

H1N1 Flu
Vaccine
The public health
nurse from Buffalo County stated today (Wednesday, October 21, 2009)
that children age 9 and under will need a booster shot in addition
to the shot they received today. Please refer to the
information that was sent home last week for more specific details.
Healthy School
Reminder
Please do not send
your child to school if they are sick, and especially if they are
running a fever. Children are to be free from a fever with no
medication for a full 24 hours before they can return to school.
Mrs.
Plachecki's and Mrs. Bragger's
Classes to
visit Apple Orchard
Mrs. Plachecki's
classroom and Mrs. Bragger's classroom will be visiting Ferguson's
Apple Orchard on Thursday, October 22nd.
Nursing Home
Visit
Mrs. Pyka's class
and Mrs. Braggers class will be visiting the Arcadia Nursing Home on
Monday, October 26th. Each student from both classrooms will
bring a permission slip home to have signed.
Trick-or-Treating
On Wednesday,
October 28th, we will be trick-or-treating around Waumandee in the
afternoon. Students who would like to go trick-or-treating
need to wear a costume and have the enclosed permission slip signed.
Students without a costume or a permission slip will not be allowed
to go trick-or-treating. Please sign and return the permission
slip as soon as possible.
Rosary Beads
We are in need of
Rosary Beads here at school for when the children pray the Rosary on
Wednesday mornings. If you would have any extra that you could
donate to school, we would appreciate it.

Christmas &
Holiday Sale
A school parent is
needed to organize the annual sale here at St. Boniface. The
fair is held the last Sunday of deer hunting (the weekend after
Thanksgiving). If you are interested, please contact Mrs. Pyka
at school.
Pizza and
Candle Sale
This October we
will be participating in two fundraisers. The first is the
Club's Choice Pizza Sale that we do each year. In addition, we
will be participating in a fundraiser with the Yankee Candle
Company. These are beautiful, high quality candles and
accessories.
We will receive 40% profit from both
companies.
Payment must
accompany
orders for both
fundraisers.
One check can be
made out if someone orders from both catalogs.
Checks need to
be written out to
St. Boniface
Catholic School.
Deadline for pizza orders is
Monday, November 2nd.
Delivery date for the pizza sale
will
be November 19th.
Deadline for candle orders
is
Wednesday, October 28th.
