End of the
Quarter
The end of the
quarter will be on Friday, November 6th. There will be early
dismissal from school that day. Report cards for the 1st
quarter will be sent home in next week's family folder.
Thanksgiving
Dinner
The annual
Thanksgiving dinner will be on Thursday, November 19th. Mass
will be at 11:00 am, with dinner to follow.
Families are
welcome to invite relatives and school supporters; we just need an
accurate count returned to us no later than Monday, November 16th.
Please respond on the enclosed sheet so Teckla can plan accordingly.
Each family is
asked to bring a dish (A-N desserts, and O-Z salads). Teckla
will welcome assistance any time on Wednesday or Thursday.

Pizza Sale
Delivery date for
the pizza order will be Thursday, November 19th. The truck
will be here after the Thanksgiving meal so that families can take
their orders home with them. There is no room in the school
freezers to keep any of the orders here at school.
Christmas Sale
We will not be
contacting vendors for our sale this year. However, if you
know of someone who would like to participate in our sale, please
have them contact Mrs. Pyka at school.
Mrs. Pyka will be
organizing the bake sale, and Mrs. Foust will be organizing a sale
of items for Advent & Christmas, a few items for Lent & Easter,
Religious articles to buy or order, Some items made by the students,
and ... . The sale will be Saturday, November 28th after mass
and Sunday, November 29th after mass and during the time of the
First Responders' Breakfast.
Parents of our
school are asked to bake items for the annual bake sale. Items
may be dropped off on Saturday, November 28th between 1:00 pm and
3:00 pm, or before church on Saturday or Sunday.
Christmas Play
Our annual
Christmas play is scheduled for Friday, December 18th. The
title of this year's play is "All I want for Christmas". More
details about this year's production will be included in next
week's newsletter.
Healthy School
Reminder
Please do not send
your child to school if they are sick, and especially if they are
running a fever. Children are to be free from a fever with no
medication for a full 24 hours before they can return to school.
