St. Boniface Catholic School 3-year-old Preschool
The purpose of the St. Boniface 3-year-old preschool and 4-year-old kindergarten programs is to provide a faith centered program that is educationally sound for pre-school aged children. The goals of the program are to provide opportunities for children to develop basic social and emotional skills, develop fine and gross motor skills, hand eye coordination and thinking skills, and, as always, to grow in the faith which brings all of these other things together. In addition, children enrolled in the 4-year-old kindergarten program will be introduced to the alphabet, counting and sorting skills. The children will be given the opportunity to develop these skills with a theme and hands on learning that is appropriate to their age level and which centers around their world. The themes for both programs are created to be fun and exciting which develops in our little ones a love for learning. The learning environment for the 3-year-old preschool and 4-year-old kindergarten is a Christian setting. This allows the children to grow in their faith, realizing how special they are in God’s sight, and learning to respond to Him and their neighbor with love, respect, and kindness.
