Christians!!?! Get Active or Else...!!!!

The Ten Commandments are in danger and now are being declared illegal for public display!!!

It becomes apparent and more obvious all the time that in America we are rapidly losing our freedom of religious expression. The idea of a Republican form of government is almost, if not already, dead. It used to be where the majority decision would be what we would consent to follow. It was an absolute standard of civil responsibility, which included the 10 Commandments where everyone willingly submitted themselves to the standard.

Our culture is presently being dictated and dominated by a humanistic world view and atheistic legal organizations which have co-opted our highest form of legal opinion: the U.S. Supreme Court. If we as Christians and patriotic citizens don't get active there will be an "or else" to pay for our apathy.

A scenario that happened during WW II in Germany gives us a real-life example of what seems to be reviving itself again in the U.S. This situation was made famous in a quote by Pastor Martin Neimoller, an anti-Nazis activist, that goes like this:

Yes, it is really happening here in America now!!! Look for yourself and see! The picture below is from The Philadelphia Inquirer newspaper in Chester County, Pennsylvania. The police are removing activists from in front of a Ten Commandments plaque, Tuesday, April 23, 2002, because the court is going to decide the fate of that symbol and as to its presence on the outside of that court house. At this moment, and until the courts decide, a tan shroud has been placed over the plaque so nobody can see the inscription of the Ten Commandments that had been there for the past 82 years.

The picture below is another example of what has happened to the Ten Commandments. In the summer of 2001 in South Bend, Indiana vandals defaced a monument of the Ten Commandments because of their created bias or obvious intolerance of allowing the Ten Commandments to be displayed on public land. Even with the protests by the majority of citizens, the minority rules. The Ten Commandments monument in South Bend will be removed.

Thou Shalt Post the Ten Commandments - Chicago Tribune article

In the style and imitation of, and if he were here today, Martin Neimoller might say it like this:

"Then they came for the Ten Commandments, but nobody spoke up in their defense and now they are illegal and can no longer be displayed publicly."
David Teiwes, 2/09/02, Exodus 20 Stuff

It has been noted in a quote by Edmund Burke that says:

"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing".

In a Pogo cartoon, the idea of the above statement was made famous that so aptly expresses what is happening to the Judeo/Christian worldview today, and it goes like this: "I see the enemy and he is us."

When all is said and done, Christians and patriotic Americans will have nobody to blame but themselves if they lose their freedom of religious expression because they didn't speak up when they had a chance.

We do, however, have a solution if we first of all can see the predicament we are headed towards. In Scripture it say:

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
2 Chronicles 7:14 The Holy Bible

There are organizations with a "zeitgeist" or mindset that want to destroy our traditional Judeo-Christian way of life. With atheistic leadership or an atheistic world view, it makes sense then why organizations like the A.C.L.U., Freedom From Religion Foundation & People for the American Way very aggressively make it a point to go after any kind of religious expression in our culture.

Yes we can change the course of our country!!! But do we know how late it is? Only as this nation directs its heart towards God, will our country be returned to the original intentions of our founders.
