will be open Monday thru Friday 8 AM to 3 PM and Saturday from 8 AM to NOON.
Starting Jan 1st at the Juneau County Landfill Each time you take your
recyclables you will be asked to register at the site before
dropping off your recyclables. .
Glass clean any color. No window glass,
dinnerware or ceramics Aluminum and aluminum cans Newspaper, cardboard,
magazines, other clean paper. Flatten cartons, throu loose
in special bins. NO paper towels, tissues, or wax coated
items Yard waste- clippings put on
compost pile Plastics- rinsed. Milk
jugs, soda bottles, soft containers #1-#2 PET symbols on bottom.
Do not save cottage cheese, egg cartons, or styrofoam For a small fee:
Batteries, 2cents per lb Used tires- 10 cents per lb Appliances-2 cents per lb will
be charged. The landfill accepts microwaves, hot water
heaters, washers and dryers, air conditioners, stoves, furnaces,
and scrap metal Used #2 oil- 2 cents per lb,
all oil must be in containers with screw top lids, prefer milk
jugs, clear 5 gal containers. NO DRUMS If you have questions or concerns, contact
