Wild Columbine

Wild Columbine (Aquilegia canadensis) is a perennial found in dry, rocky woods and clearings. Reaching heights of 2-3 feet, Wild Columbine flowers in late spring to early summer. Its red and yellow flowers attract hummingbirds and make good cut flowers.

While this plant tolerates either direct sun or full shade, it does best in partial shade. Use Wild Columbine in woodland and rock gardens and in lightly shaded borders.
