Jack-in-the-Pulpit Arisaema triphyllum ![]() Jack-in-the-Pulpit (Arisaema triphyllum) is a long-lived perennial found in moist woods and along stream banks. Known for its unusual flower, this plant grows 1-3 feet tall, flowers from May into June, and may produce clusters of bright red berries in late summer or early fall. Jacks thrive under a variety of situations, but prefer at least partial shade and will flower and fruit best where soils remain moist. Use individual plants as specimen plants in shade gardens or plant in small clusters amidst other woodland wildflowers. |
