A perennial wildflower growing 8-12 inches tall, its clusters of pale violet-blue flowers bloom in May and June. Wild Blue Phlox prefers high shade (filtered sunlight), but with adequate moisture and rich soil it will tolerate more sunshine. ![]() Individual plants will form large clumps under favorable conditions. Wild Blue Phlox will self-sow to form natural drifts in shady areas. Use this plant in flower borders, wildflower and rock gardens, or along woodland trails. |
