Plants may be pre-ordered for pick-up at the Dane County Farmers' Market (Saturday mornings, late April through May). Arrangements may also be made for orders to be delivered in the Madison area or to be picked up at our nursery south of Muscoda, WI.
All plants are container grown and sold "by the pot." Most pots contain multiple plants, although the plants from a single pot may not all be of the same age or size. For a few species the two or more plants in a single pot are easily separated and can be planted individually. For most species, however, the roots of the plants from a single pot are too intertwined to allow for separation of the plants, and these plants are best planted as one. Dutchman's Breeches typically contain a single plant per pot.
All plants have been propagated by Woods' Edge Farm and are of a Wisconsin genotype.
Most species are propagated from seed collected from open-pollinated plants. A few species are propagated vegetatively by division or runners.
