Breakfast 6:45 AM

Drive to Big Bay State Park, Madeline Island 7:15 - 9:30 AM (catch 8:45AM ferry to island; ferry schedule and fees at madferry.com)

Big Bay State Park:  Mark Eggleson 715-747-6425

1.      Outdoor Group Camp area:  $44/day to reserve for ROTC ropes course, MREs

2.      Outdoor Group Camp area:  Point Trail hike with scenic overlooks

3.      Day Use Picnic Area:  Nature program by naturalist Jennifer Birkholz @ Big Bay ($1/person), boardwalk hike by barrier beach

4.      Day Use Picnic Area:  1.5 mile long sandy beach (Carolyn Helein – life guard)

5.      Day Use Picnic Area:  use site for lunch

6.      State Historical Society Museum:  715-747-2415 (one block from ferry boat)

Drive back to PLFS 3:30 - 5:30 PM (catch 4:00PM ferry off island)

Dinner 6:00 PM

Bonfire and S’mores – PM

Tues – September 20^st

Breakfast 7:00 AM

Drive to Northern Great Lakes Visitor Center 8:00 – 8:45 AM

Preparation for presentations/judges orientation
