Treatment Foster HomesTreatment foster homes are an alternative living facility for a child not yet able to blend comfortably into a family setting due to emotional or behavioral difficulties while not so severe as to prevent him/her from benefiting from the closeness of family relationships. Coulee Youth Centers, Inc. foster providers open their homes and hearts to allow children an opportunity to receive the caring and nurturing that is vital to the children's well-being. The purpose is to provide a family setting that gives nurturing, security, and a positive role modeling for up to four children while incorporating structure with the aid of professional supervision that focuses on specific areas requiring change. Children placed in treatment foster homes should be able to join the family unit without excessive disruptions to family functioning. Coulee Youth Centers, Inc. provides treatment foster parents with superior support from an on-site social worker. |
