The name Hilda means "battle woman." Even though she is a herd queen, this doesn't really fit her personality at all. She is quite laid back and goes with the flow.

Hilda is our last light colored girl out of Finn. She freshened wonderfully as a two year old with nicely placed hand milking teats and great capacity. Her legs are as straight as can be, and she is well balanced and sturdy while maintaining her femininity. She is equally as generous with her affection as she is in the milk pail. Hilda's quality shows through with great offspring, including superior genetics daughter, Paper Moon. We would like to see better teat delineation on this girl, but all of her daughters have been improvements in this regard. She has great rear udder height and rear udder arch. Her appraisal went well with very good and excellent scores. She has consistently let the best traits of the sires she has been bred to shine through while adding strength and width throughout.
