This is the first girl from our "Smart" line, named after strong intellectual women. Hypatia was a Greek mathematician, astronomer, and philospher. She is regarded as one of the smartest women of all time.

We couldn't pass up this girl out of a Tach Lach and Beyonce daughter. Add to that the fact that she is sired by the VERY promising Royal Flush, who was on the 2015 young sire development list and just earned his championship in 2018. We just had to bring this gal to our farm. We like that we can reinforce some of the genetics that we have here on our farm with an emphasis on correctness and STRONG production.
Hypatia freshened in 2017 with a single buckling, and even so she still managed to earn her milk star and Superior Genetics designation. For 2018 it was twin bucklings. We are hoping for a doeling or two next year :-). Hypatia has a wide rear udder with strong attachments, a long smooth fore udder, and great texture.
With her second freshening her udder has increased in capacity and is really showing off those strong attachments. Her teats are bulbulous, but still easily milked. Hypatia is very polite and sweet. Oh yeah, and she made the ELITE list this year!
